Greeter Coordinator: Jenergy Contact: [email protected] The Greeter Coordinator ensures that we have greeters at our entrance to our camp space while events are going on, and teaches them how to welcome people into our camp, help with directions, help with understanding the events going on during the day, and asks greeters to ensure that bikes don't block the road in front of the camp. They handle any coordination with the event required for approving a given vehicle and issuing a pass to the camper for the vehicle. They may also layout the various mobile housing that campers bring to stay in while at the event on the camp map. This role confirms that we have room for a given vehicle & ensures that the various units are placed to accommodate the campers' needs for space, access, and community. They support planning and operations for the main event and communicate important announcements and deadlines for fulfilling the camp mission.	I am supporting coordination and logistics pre-burn for Playa del Fuego 2023: welcoming new/returning members and sharing information about the camp, managing the camp coordination excel document, helping to match campers with roles/interests/gifts, and answer any general questions. Social cohesion comes through claiming connection points that create a sense of identity in the various aspects of camp. Depending on event this may be through the main burn organizers or an outside purchase.	I’m coordinating ice delivery for camp at LoveBurn 2023. Trying to make it easy by using the offered bulk delivery service by the Ice Palace.

Pods are "sub-camps" of a main camp, typically based around a practice, area of interest, geographical area. Or, pods could be a squad, or a group of campers who are typically in another camp,but their camp isn't big enough to have a full presence or bring their gear to a burn. Don't over-think pods -- they are permeable and not meant to be particularly exclusive, they're more a cognitive tool to help understand the organization of camp as a whole. Sometimes pods choose to offer a particular piece of interactivity / special event or meal for camp.
